This year, DIVE IN 2007 will be held at Genting View Resort, Pahang, Malaysia!

Genting View Resort is located about 45minutes away from Kuala Lumpur. Located in the highlands of Pahang, it has a cool and comfortable climate, which is simply perfect for a camp like DIVE IN 2007!

It's huge as well.. well over 160acres of land. That's more than enough land for all the activites we have planned out for you guys.

Campers will be housed at comfortable apartments with kitchenettes. You'd have housemates as well - the perfect opportunity for you to get to know more people!

There are also 2 swimming pools, an obstacle course, an archery range, badminton, tennis and squash courts. For the health buffs, there's even a gymnasium in this resort!

DIVE In - LAUNCHED!

The lights dimmed, and 5 musicians + 1 backup vocal stood in position. The chords were strummed, and as Neil launched into the first verse of "Dive In to a Real World", the crowd cheered.

That's right, people, DIVE IN 07 was officially launched last Saturday!

Besides the 1a.m. band singing the camp theme song (live!!), the crowd were treated to a video teaser featuring clips from last year's camp as well as snippets of what is to be expected from this year's! Best of all, registration officially began!

Wondering what "Spirit World Adventure" and "Mediapoly" are all about? Want to know the packages available this time around? Check back soon, and you just might find out, in addition to having a pleasant surprise!

(Of course I can't tell you what the surprise is, so just check back. :D)

Hot off the printers - DIVE IN 2007 invites

Two innocent-looking packages were brought into the office today by Kelvin, our music director. Busy with work, none of us took much notice of it until someone asked, "Hey, what's that?"

That was when we realised the DIVE IN invites were ready!

We gathered around it, ooh-ing and aah-ing over the colours and the superb design done by none other than Aaron, who also did the design for this blog! *applause*

Launch Event - DIVE IN 2007

Remember what DIVE In was like last year? Do you recall the fun that we had exploring the truth about Creation&Evolution, Love vs. Lust? The late night DIVE talks where everyone had an opportunity to ask questions and share their opinions?

Remember the theme song for the camp "Dive In", with its catchy beat, 70s-feel and addictive dance moves?

Well, you can have a live preview of what this year's DIVE IN Student Camp is going to be like!

This Saturday, 7th July 2007 is the official launch of the Dive In Student Camp 2007! Below are the details:

Date: 7th July 2007 (Saturday)
Location: ECF Puchong
Time: 7.30pm - 9.30pm

Registration also officially opens on Saturday, so make sure you grab a copy of that registration form to qualify for the early bird price! Besides that, you're going to find out a bit more about the great programmes we have lined up for you during the camp.

And guess what? 1a.m. is going to perform the new theme song for this year's camp!!! It's gonna be the first time this song has ever been played live so make sure you don't miss it!

Dive In 2007 is here!

Hello everyone!

We had a great DIVE IN 2006 last year from 31August - 2September. 195 participants enjoyed 3 days of non-stop fun, exploring, discovering and engaging that culminated in a wild trip to Genting Highlands Theme Park!

And now, I am pleased to announced that DIVE IN 2007 is here!

After months of planning, we've more or less concretised our plans for this superb student camp. And while I can't reveal what the plans are (for fear of my being hunted down by our planning committee), what I can tell you is that is going to be even better than last year!

We are going to Discover things about ourselves we never knew, be Intrigued by quesitions we've always wanted to ask - but never did. Find out the things we are most Vulnerable to, and Engage in a truth that will blow our minds away!
